Research Associate, University of Applied Sciences Cologne

Rabea Herl has her MA in Education Management, University of Applied Sciences Cologne, and BS from the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt, Germany.  She has over ten years of experience in the field of social work which includes working with vulnerable youth and refugees in Munich, child care services in Heredia/Costa Rica, and as a trainee assisting unaccompanied minors project in Phoenix, Arizona. Currently, she works as a research associate at University of Applied Sciences Cologne. Her area of research is related to the integration of refugees into the labor market.  Rabea firmly believes in intercultural communication and education as well as in bringing together academic research and practitioners to develop the social work profession further.
