Candice Garcia
Candice Garcia is an Arizona State University graduate student currently working toward a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) with a focus on macro practice. She received her Bachelor’s in Social Work from California State University San Bernardino in her home state. Candice is currently interning at the ASU Office of Global Social Work and the ASU Office of Community Engagement. She is also Vice President of the MOSAIC International Connections student organization which supports inclusion of ASU’s international students and promotes cultural and ethnic diversity at the ASU Downtown Phoenix campus. While in Southern California she worked three years as a Therapeutic Behavioral Coach for an organization serving youth experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges. She has also had a similar role working within a California school district while completing her undergraduate degree. Candice hopes to work with those experiencing homelessness and become more involved in environmental justice. Candice enjoys painting and hiking in her free time.
