The Arizona State University School of Social Work is pleased to announce that we are now serving as an approved credentialing organization for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for social work and human service agencies across Arizona. Previously, CEU credentialing was facilitated through NASW–Arizona. As NASW–AZ transitions away from this role, ASU School of Social Work is honored to continue this important service to our professional community.
This transition ensures that agencies, practitioners, and educators continue to have access to high-quality, ethically grounded continuing education opportunities that support professional growth and meet licensure requirements. CEUs credentialed through ASU School of Social Work are designed to meet the standards of the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and may be applied toward licensure and renewal requirements, depending on the specific category and type of training.
By housing CEU credentialing within the School of Social Work, we are strengthening statewide collaboration, supporting workforce development, and advancing excellence in social work education and practice. We look forward to partnering with agencies, organizations, and community providers to support meaningful training and professional development that enhances service delivery and promotes the well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
