Sex Trafficking Intervention Research (STIR)

Sextraffickinghelp.com – A statewide resource for social service providers to find agencies and organizations that are trauma-informed and trained to work with individuals who have experienced sexual exploitation. Services include housing, mental health, medical, legal advocacy, education, and more. You can also find the latest training materials and research reports from the STIR Office on this site.

Projectstarfish.education – A national resource for middle school and high school educators and administrators to learn about sex trafficking and to teach their students about the issue. This website includes sex trafficking 101 training materials, a framework to aid administrators on how to develop interventions protocols should a student identify as a victim, lesson plans for various school subjects, awareness and education activity/event ideas, and a plan for student engagement and mobilization against the social injustice of human trafficking.
