Domestic Violence Certificate

The ASU Domestic Violence Certificate is offered through the School of Social Work and is available for all in person ASU undergraduate and graduate students interested in gaining expertise specific to domestic and sexual violence.

This program provides students with the experience and knowledge needed to intervene safely and effectively on behalf of survivors of gender-based violence, a vulnerable group likely to be encountered by helping professionals in all areas of practice.

All students are required to provide service in the community to engage in learning about best practices, and to implement services for domestic violence survivors in real-world settings. Students' experiences in their internship will be complemented by classroom learning regarding the topic of domestic violence, including interventions, safety-planning, and evidence-based practices.
