Nury Stemple is a Community Health Worker & Research Specialist at ASU OCHER.
Nury has 20+ years of experience as a Health Educator/Community Health Worker, conducting outreach and engagement in vulnerable communities, and collaborating with community-based organizations and key stakeholders. She provided direct services to community members, including conducting care plans to evaluate effectiveness, documenting interventions, conducting psychosocial assessments, and making referrals within the community and resources. She also Implemented community outreach and engagement plans. Nury previous work at the University of Arizona as a Health Educator with the College of Medicine Mobile Health Program and the UA Cancer Center. Her areas of expertise include public health education, and maternal and child health, she has a passion for advocating and empowering families, strengthening resiliency, and addressing health disparities.
