The Arizona State University School of Social Work is committed to addressing pressing issues and finding practical solutions. The School is one of the largest and most diverse social work programs in the world. Among our areas of strength are child welfare training, health and behavioral health, community practice, administration, policy practice and innovative services for children, youth, and families. We also have expertise in gerontology, forensic social work, integrative health, the animal-human bond, Borderland issues, and several other areas. Our expertise and attention to cultural diversity and the distinct populations of the Southwest are unique. The School is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

The MSW program is offered in the following locations: Downtown, Tucson and Online.

MSW in Tucson MSW Child Welfare Program

The professional program leading to the MSW degree prepares social workers for advanced professional social work practice. The program is designed to prepare social workers to be capable of responding effectively to the needs of special populations, particularly in the Southwest. The Master of Social Work program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

The Fall 2018 on-campus Standard MSW deadline dates: April 1st to submit application and all materials must be received by April 16th

The Fall 2018 Online MSW deadline dates:  June 1st to submit application and all materials must be received by June 15th

The Spring 2019 MSW Online program application deadline is November 1st.  All supplemental application materials (transcripts, letter of reference, test scores, etc.) must be received by the ASU School of Social Work by November 15th.
