Katie Stalker
Assistant Professor
School Of Social Work

Katie Stalker's research focuses on the risk and protective factors associated with youth development, with a particular emphasis on aggressive and violent behavior. As a pre-doctoral fellow with the North Carolina Youth Violence Prevention Center at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, her dissertation work examined the construct validity of aggression and violent behavior measures and identified relational risk and promotive factors associated with adolescent female aggression. Cotter plans to further develop the knowledge base and ultimately use this information to develop and evaluate prevention and intervention programs.
